Monday 5th March

SNOW SNOW SNOW!!!!

It started snowing Sunday night and it hasn't really stopped since, apart from a bit of rain on the Jourette this afternoon. With the wind, at times, the weather has turned into a blizzard which has turned into some interesting skiing but to have two beginner groups ski from the very top of the Jourette was amazing and a first in Torgon history.

Of course it has also been Joey's 10th birthday which will certainly be memorable for him and meant he got some special privileges such as first in the sandwich line and the winning bingo ticket! Our top two ski groups spent their day on the French slopes and will return tomorrow followed by some of our beginner groups.

Although the weather has been challenging, the children have again shown amazing resilience when things have been tough. Everyone has now mastered the dreaded button lift and sharing chips in the mounatin restaurants were very well deserved.

Thank you again for all your support and the lovely messages which I'm sharing with the children.
